Honeymoon

Soooo exciting!
We actually managed to go on a REAL honeymoon!
So... after the church wedding we went to the Temple to get sealed... that was a wonderful experience, a dream come true for both of us!
We choose to remain in the same area for our honeymoon, the nature it's breathtaking and the villages quaint and picturesque!
The leaves were changing color and I was so happy to be able to show off England at its best to my husband!
We stayed two nights in a sweet b&b, it was rather empty, only us, another couple and the inn keeper that, I suspect, lived in a room on the back of the building... Believe me, after the hustle and bustle of the wedding that kind of peace and quiet was exactly what we both needed!
We would have happily stayed there even the last night
but the b&b was in the middle of nowhere on a rather big and noisy street, and we sooo needed peace and quiet!
So we thought it better to move somewhere else, maybe nearer to a train station... I guess in a way we were psychologically getting ready to go back home. We took off and went exploring, we jumped on a bus to East Grinstead and thanks to a nice lady working on a hot drink stall at the station we found the nicest cutest cleanest b&b I have ever been in!
this is the link
It even came with complementary long haired luxurious lap cat!
Clio (the cat's name) was laying on the stairs in her "majestic hairy
beauty" waiting to be patted and fussed over by the clients, and boooy she was fussed over! She was beautiful, a real princess... I looove long hair cats so much and I make sure I get my "love fix" every time I manage to get my hands on one!
The place came with everything, from the quite normal like free wi-fi (indispensable for Andrew) to little extras like take away menus tidily laminated and stacked away in a folder, to the utterly bizarre like ear cleaning sticks (what are they called?) and moisturizing body cream.
Honestly, if you go down that way, this b&b it's worth it!
Anyway, after a pantagruelic English breakfast (meaning huge!) we set of and went to see Hever Castle, something we wanted to go to see together even before deciding to get married!

You see, Andrew and I share many interests, but the love for history is something special that we have together.
We recently read many books about the Tudor period and it felt so special to go there together!
It's so nice to study about a specific family or a specific time in history so well that when you go to visit the places you read of in the books you feel a sense of recognition and familiarity... We had a great day and very fond memories... there is a big lake in the grounds and we walked all around it, it took us over one hour, and I fell in the mud (pumps and waterlogged ground don't mix!) but we felt alone in the world, and we loved it!

It was the best wedding and the best honeymoon I could ever have wished for, because I have the best man I could ever wish for next to me and I am the happiest I have ever been!

Since we came back we all noticed that something felt different in all our hearts... now we really feel like the family that we are, now we know for sure that...

         DADDY IS HOME!
